FCP won't mount my p2 volume anymore
by Magee McIlvaine on Aug 16, 2009 at 1:58:12 am

To Whom it May Concern,
So- I am working of a macbook pro, full updated, using Leopard. I generally work with the HVX and p2 cards (16gb and 32gb card). Usually, I have no problems copying the footage off the p2 cards and then importing using log and transfer into FCP (I have the most updated FCP). Suddenly, my FCP has stopped being able to recognize P2 volume's. I have tried using FCP 'Log and Transfer' to capture p2 footage both directly from a mounted p2 volume (mounted fine) or from a folder on computer with copied p2 footage in it (copied from the mounted volume). Any thoughts as to what could be happening and how to fix?
Thank you for your time and help!
-Magee

Turn off networking...airport. That has issues of late. Did you install FX Factory v1 recently?

Yes it does. You need to run the update from FX's website. It breaks the Log and Transfer for P2 cards.
