Log And Transferring HD files into Final Cut Pro 6.0.6

A client of mine has shot some video on a JVC GY-HM 700CHU, HD camera.
He transferred it onto an external hard-drive. All of the files are in .mp4 format.
There is a special log and transfer plug-in that JVC owners can download from JVC's website. We downloaded and installed it.
I've changed the sequence setting to HD but I still cannot get the .mp4 files into Log and Transfer. They are visible but high-lightable and transferrable into Final Cut Pro 6.0.6.
What am I doing wrong?
