FCP6 and Contour Shuttle Lag

Hello,

does anyone succesfully use Contour Shuttle Pro 2 shuttle ring for smoooth shuttling in FCP6? I have the latest update with FCP6 settings, but shuttling is incredibly jerky. FCP shuttles on for a second or two after I let go of the shuttle ring.

No problems of this sort with Premiere CS3/4 on a Mac or PC.

Is it due to bad configuration of the Shuttle control panel or due to internal lagging of FCP6?

It is FCP. The same lag happens using the keyboard.

its also due to the nature of its communication process as a keystroke sender ... those keystrokes will tend to be buffered by the OS which will continue to feed them to the app after you've stopped

Thanks. It`s a shame it`s so perfectly fluid in Premiere and extremely laggy in FCP :(
