Greetings. I'm in a scenario where we have to work with those files. FCP won't read the m2t files but I found I can take m2t files into premiere or after fx and spit them out to whatever friendly quicktime file FCP will recognize. Though it may be very cumbersome it's the only work around I know with a straight m2t file. If anyone has a better solution please chime in.

Hi Brett,
I don't work with MT2 files, but I think the "ClipWrap" pointed by Jeremy may be the best solution.
Here there is only re-wrapping, so no quality loose. I guess the process is fast. Rewraping the EX-1 .mp4 files to .mov it takes like RT/8.
