Sony SR11 glitch with Final Cut Pro

I am having a glitch happen with the HD video recorded with the Sony SR11 when I try to play it back in Final Cut Pro. The video was imported with the log and transfer feature in FC. I have read some blogs on this problem, but I am still having no success. One blog said to install or uninstall Perian, so I got Perian and installed the latest version (1.1.2). The glitch is still taking place on playback. Anyone else have a solution that I can try?

I have two SR11 cameras and multiple machines running FCP 6 and FCXpress. I was able to successfully transfer footage on one machine but not the other. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what was going on until I read your post. *Uninstalling* Perian did the trick!
