Stereo Pairs for 5.1 audio in FCP timeline

	Stereo Pairs for 5.1 audio in FCP timeline by Warren Pereira on Nov 27, 2008 at 2:24:38 am Hello all, I have 5.1 audio laid in a FCP timeline as L,R,C,LFE, Ls, Rs. Should I make the L+R and Ls+Rs stereo pairs before I export the audio to Compressor for ac3 encoding or should I leave it as is (discrete mono channels, 6 of them). The sequence settings seems to make them stereo pairs for the downmix on 2-channel playback but I am not sure if they should be stereo pairs for 5.1 playback.
