Timecode Issues
by Justin Lawrence on Nov 26, 2008 at 6:08:27 pm

First post, so please be gentle!

I am working on a 3 cam multiclip shoot. The problem is, one of my videographers kept turning the camera on and off, and I have having to find where he shut it off so that I can resync up the video. Sony VX2100's don't have free-running timecode or else I would do that.

So question.....

Is there any way, once the footage is captured, to view where the timecode or tape was stopped or broken on the timeline?

Thank you!

I don't know the camera, but, as there's been no other replies, when you select the master clip in the Browser, then select 'Mark' menu, does "DV Start/Stop Detect shoe as an option?

If so, that will do it for you.
