Final Cut Pro Slideshow Error
by Josh Hayes on Oct 16, 2008 at 7:24:15 am

Have a standard slideshow at the end of a wedding I'm editing. Ken Burns effects and all that jazz. But everytime I try to export it (trying uncompressed, and several different codecs {h.264. and Photo JPEG) I get a ghosting effect with the images that is not in the original Final Cut Video. Example below:

Original

Exported

explain exactly how you are exporting. What type of images (jpg, tiff, png) are you using? Your workflow does not seem to be correct,

Hi Steve. Workflow has worked before, in fact I just did the same thing for a different project last week, but I'd love to find out I'm doing something wrong so I can fix the prob and move on, ha ha.

Images are .jpg and I'm exporting using both non compressor options (Export as a Quicktime Movie, Using Quicktime Conversion). I've tried Photo JPEG, H.264, and AIC as my export codecs.

I generally export to my external drive, but tried exporting to my desktop as well.

Ghosting effect occurs when slideshow is part of whole movie, and when exported separately as well.

Any ideas?
