Installing FCP and Avid on the HD?

I have currently have a setup where I have a mac pro quad core. The internal HD has been split into 2 partitions. On one is FCP and on the other is Media Composer 3.01. The Avid hardware that I am running is an SDI Mojo. I as yet do not have any hardware cards for the FCP, will at some stage go for either a Kohna or Black Magic.
I was advised to run x2 partitions because of potential driver conflicts between SDI mojo - Black Magic or Koha cards.
I understand that 3.05 media composer has been released and that this is qualified to run with Leopard.
Should I still run x2 internal hd partitions for both Avid and FCP or can I now have just one partition with both apps installed?

Continue with the two partitions. The versions of QT and OS (primarily QT) differ for both. And yes, Kona drivers and MOJO drivers can conflict. Nothing wrong with two partitions. I do that myself. I have a Kona LH on my machine, but no MOJO.
3.0.5 rocks...finally able to select everything to the left and right from a specific point, so you can make a hole to add footage and make changes. The only thing really holding me back.
