Leases just don't make any good sense to me anymore. I leased my very first system back in 2001 and since then we just purchase. The gear is so cheap these days and becomes obsolete so quickly, there's no reason carrying a lease for three years. Just purchase, then sell it off in three years, apply that money to your next purchase. That's what we do.

B&H is the largest dealer in the U.S., but they're not that great at support after the sale. If you need support after the sale, look at WH Platts company. They service the entire East Coast.

I only purchase my gear from them these days.

[walter biscardi] "B&H is the largest dealer in the U.S., but they're not that great at support after the sale."

I used to work at B&H, and I'd have to agree with Walter on their after market support. They're simply not set up to provide any.

Also, B&H does not do any direct leasing, but they will work with your leasing company to make the sale, and can even refer you to a leasing company.

In NYC, you could also try Tekserve. I think they're an Apple VAR.
