File-naming Conventions
by Ryan Krickow on Sep 10, 2008 at 2:08:55 am

Are there standard file-naming conventions when working on a feature film. My understanding is to label video clips as follows... [scene]-[take]-[description]. For example, 27A-1-WS Mountains. For audio I would label it [scene]-[take]-[track]-[description]. For example, 2B-1-2-Arthur whispering. Is this the most functional way to go about it or is there a preferred method? Thanks!

I think that a simple "yes" will work here...as you did all the hard thinking on your end.
