I searched for this among previous posts, but am capable of looking right at something and not seeing it, so apologies if this has been treated before. I have a new MacPro w/Leopard and Studio 2/FCP6, which I need to get up and running for projects starting soon. But I have a couple of projects nearing completion in FCP 5 on an older G5 that need to stay there (99% of the work is done, but due to an official approval process, it could be months before they are finally wrapped to dvd). Can I install both my old FCP/Studio Pro and my new Studio 2 in the same applications folder on the new MacPro, or do I have to partition my system drive and create a whole separate Leopard/FCP5 volume? Or should I just consign the old projects to the old computer and keep things separate that way?

Hi Peter,
You can not install two FC versions in the same System.
You can run FC 5 in your MP as long as you have the Universal version. PPC version can not be installed in Intel Macs.
However if you need to run FC 6 and Fc 5, you better install this one in an external HD instead of making a partition.
