Keeping DV clip timecode when printing to tape?
by David Badounts (StDave) on Aug 25, 2008 at 8:46:00 pm

Anyone know how to keep each clips TC when printing back to DV tape via the "Edit to Tape" option? I need to keep the TC of each shot in tact and if I can also get the date info written to the DVCAM tape that would be much better.

Any help appreciated. I figured out how to do this in EDIUS but not in FCP.

My deck does support external TC or internal...I don't want to have burned in Timecode, I just need to retain the clips for future reference if I ever need to recapture.

Thanks.

I'll check if Premiere Pro can do it.
