xmedit's traffic
by Doug Bassett on Aug 20, 2008 at 1:56:09 am

Does anyone know what has happened to xmedit? They haven't had an update since 2006 and the support forum is gone.
Thanks,
Doug

That's never a good sign. Have you tried calling them?

i thought the same thing, I tried contacting 2 times and no reply

looked like a really good product

needs updating though to include master templates and could do with values like put clip in at sequence timecode with in point or backtiming to be really useful, e.g. for layouts to tape at specific intervals
also could have done with some sort of abstraction on patches like pure data e.g. controller patches that control the layer underneath.
this would allow for easy swapping of sequence content and clip content without rebuilding the nodes altogether
would have been good to see what other people were coming up with as well for their nodes and uses for the product.
