Audio popping in timeline but not in the viewer
by Andrew Jenter on Aug 15, 2008 at 5:43:38 pm

Hello,
I've cut in some audio to the timeline from the viewer, and for some reason there's popping at a particular spot, only in the timeline. When it's played in the viewer it's fine. I've tried reimporting the file, cutting it into a brand new sequence and the same thing happens. Any ideas? I also tried different audio levels to no avail.
Thanks!

What kind of file is it? Does the clip's sample settings match Sequence Settings?

It's an mp3 file. How would I check the sequence settings against the clip's sample settings?

MP3 are no good in Final Cut, because they are highly compressed.
