Doubts about modeler / Lightwave

Hello!
I'm new in the world of 3D animation..And while I am still learning to model. But I have a doubt. I have to make a spiral staircase com handrail and all. Well, I already have the steps and the backbone..I do not know how to handrail also spiral to suit the ladder. Anyone know? Required

Soy nueva en el mundo de la anumacion y por ahora solo estoy aprendiendo a model. Pero tengo una duda. Tengo que hacer una escalera en caracol y todo con barandilla. Ya tengo la escalera y el disco central pero no sé como hacer tambien en la barandilla snail that is quede bien con la escalera. Alguien me puede ayudar? Gracias
Experiment in Rail Extrude's Numeric Input panel (n) to change the way the disc extrudes along the spline. Depending on how your staircase looks, you might get spot-on results with this.

There are several ways to do this, but RAIL EXTRUDE is probably your best bet.
On second thought, for something so mechanical and regular, LATHE using OFFSET would work fine also. It's very simple, and easier to manipulate than RAIL EXTRUDE.
