Lightwave 3D and animation
by Pat Cerrato on Aug 13, 2009 at 10:48:07 pm

I am using lightwave 9.3. or at least 9.0. Is there a way to animate quicker? Let's say I am animating 100 insetcs... each insect has a dozen or so parts... My item list is huge... is there anyway, I can put each bug into a folder... so I can jump from Bug 1 to 80 without scrolling through this huge list?

Either
a) use HD Instance, that's a plug-in
b) open scene editor to select whatever bug you'd like
c) try with motion designer ?
d) particles?

You could use the scene editor.

You could also use an Item Picker (search for plugins).

You could also use the List Managers with a Filter and/or a Selection Set.
