Output to OpenGL?
by Glen Mead on Jul 29, 2009 at 2:06:32 am

Hi folks,

I have had a contact approach me about outputting 3D animation to OpenGL. I know that OpenGL is a technology to display 3D graphics but I am not familiar with using it as an output format. Is this something that can be done in Lightwave? Any hints, tips, help, suggestion or smart @ss comments are greatly appreciated. :D

Thanks in advance.

Glen

I've never heard that before: usually OpenGL is manipulated by applications directly, not as a rendered animation.

I think you should ask your client what formats OpenGL can playback in, or find a programmer and ask them.
