working with big files
by David Barski on May 2, 2009 at 1:16:18 pm

Hi,
I'm working a scene with a lot of objects that are really heavy (complex).
is there any way to work on "low resolution" or to reduce the size of the scene? or the poligons...and then when I finally got the scene the way I want to replace with the big files?

is really hard to visualice the preview (takes a lot of time to visualice every time I want to make any change on the layout.

thanks in advance,

David

You can reduce the visibility of OTHER objects in the scene. AND you can decide how detailed the particular object you are working on. You can display objects as:

Invisible
Bounding boxes
Vertices only
etc etc

Have you tried that yet?

As a final, you can swap objects in and out.
