Hello to all,
I use lightwave 9 and I am giving this program a second try. I am creating a logo for a company and here is something so simple, but made me so mad that I gave up for a while. I am creating a logo with text. Each character takes up one of those little blue squares at the top right for each letter. I had space for one of the words then I created the logo in just one square. But I go to write the second word and everything is gone (still very mad) and can't undo once I wrote the new word. Am I using the wrong text option or not saving right or what the heck is my prob.

Those litle blue squares are just layers, the < and > move you from one set of ten layers to the next. Clicking on the top of the blue sqaure loads the layer into the foreground and clicking on the bottom of the box loads that layer into the background. Shift-clicking the layer boxes will let you load up multiple layers.
Once you save your object and send it to Layout every layer will come in as a seperate object. Depending on what you want your logo to do you might want to group words together in a single layer rather than individual letters, but that depends on the project.
