Importing Cinema 4D model?

Hi all,

this is my first post here - I've been reading other posts to see if this is already answered, so forgive me if I am repeating something.

I have a Cinema 4D R10 model but no Cinema 4D. Is there a way of importing this into Lightwave? If not, is there a way of importing it into XSI or 3dsmax?

I have a copy of Polytrans, but cannot see (despite mentions of Cinema 4D on the Okino website) how to import Cinema 4D models.

Any suggestions and I would be very grateful,

if u have some extension like mmm .3ds , .DXF , or .OBJ,
u can import it in lightwave modeler.

but if u dont have it, find some program like rhinos, and u can make the conversion.

I have a Cinema4D file - extension .c4d.

Does Rhino open .c4d files (Sorry, I know this is OT)?

i was checking the page of rhino and mmm bad news, it doestn work with C4d, :(
i will check another software,
if u need the model in a few days let me check with some friends that work with CD4 and maybe they can make the export to .Obj,
