When I create a lower third - I like to have a background on lower third. The clip I use for this is above the Background Bar. When I bring the file into FCP the text is there but not the background clip.

This is also happening when I go into an older project to update a title. The clip behind the text disappears.

Go into settings for the project and click "render background"
