Flickering Letters in Scrolling Credits

After creating my scrolling text in LiveType 2.13, I import it into FCP6 without problems. But after I burn it to a DVD (using DVD Studio Pro4), the letters flicker when scrolling. Is the problem native to FCP, DVD SP4, or me? Is there a setting that I need to use to prevent flickering?

I recently learned a trick that helped out with the sharpness of text lately. When exporting your sequence from FCP, use the QT conversion option and under the options change the compression type to PNG. It really helped me out a lot!
