Quick question regarding sending LT to FCP.

If I send a LT file to FCP by dragging it onto the FCP timeline with-out rendering the LT project first, does the LT still get converted to animation codec by default, or get rendered to the FCP compression (in this case would be DVCPRO50). If so, does DVCPRO50 do a decent job of LT files?

Cheers

When the project is drug (dragged?) into FCP it is in the Animation Codec, whether rendered or not. Once it is rendered in FCP it is rendered in the DCPRO50 codec. It will still show all the Animation transparency, but will match the rest of your video. I.e. this is the right way to do this.
