LiveType vs After Effects to Subtitle
by Mike Derk (mikederk) on May 18, 2008 at 11:20:30 pm

Hey,

I have to go back an re-subtitle something, and am annoyed by the lack of audio in LT. Has anyone here used After Effects to add subtitles?

Thanks,

Mike

There should be audio, wrong. There are no audio capabilities in LiveType.

Sjon,

Thank you. I read your answer from last week -- sorry about not checking the archives first, I'm sure that's annoying.

Now I'm wondering if I would be better off using After Effects to do subtitling -- at least it has audio.

Mike

I use the Boris Plug-in that comes with FCP for subtitling.
