There is a shortcut in the "Mark" drop-down menu to move the playhead in the timeline to the beginning or end of a track. It's listed as "apple" followed by a diagonal arrow. I've not seen that arrow before and can't figure out what the keyboard combo is.
If anyone knows I'd appreciate the guidance.

Try Home and End keys to navigate to the beginning or end of the timeline. I don't know why they used those arrows, but the help file lists it as home and end.
