LiveType causing lost quality when converting Video to FLV

I have been trouble shooting this for quite some time and it's rather frustrating at the least, BUT I have narrowed it down to what is causing the conflict.
For some unknown reason, any of my Final Cut Pro 6 projects that include ANY (small or large) clips from LiveType, once I render the video using FC to a Quicktime file, it looks great, though once I use FC or On2 to render the quicktime to an FLV, the quality loss is definate! If I simply exclude the LiveType clip from the FC timeline, and render all the way to FLV, the quality is perfect. This is what tells me that the LiveType is causing the problem. I can't tell however if the settings in one or the other program are incorrect, though I have tried several ways.
Recap, I can make the quicktime file just fine, quality looks great, But when I render to an FLV the quality is terrible. If I leave out LiveTyple from FC project, rendered out FLV looks perfect. I just need for the LiveType portion to not cause loss in the quality of my FLV.

Maybe, but you have not established a definitive causal relationship. It all depends on how you're getting to FLV, what encoder you're using, and whether or not your encoder is seeing the composite or trying to rebuild the video from the pieces. Compressor will try to build new media and that can cause a similar result. Are you using an On@ product or the On2 codec inside Compressor?
