Change the color of an effect

I am looking to use the effect "Glow Stamp" from the glow collection, only I want to change the default ugly green color to white and cannot figure out how to do it

Apply the effect. Click the effect in the timeline. Go to the Effects tab in the Inspector. The lower pane (Paramater) shows the effect script. Click the GlowColor twice and a Glow Color palette will open. Click the color swatch and the color picker will open. Choose your new color.

Yes, I did that, but it only effects the color slightly, the rest of the glow is still yellow/green

That is because there are a couple of keyframes in the effect. Make sure that at each keyframe (there are 3) that you set your colors.

see that's the most frustrating thing.. there is only one visible keyframe in the effect - go take a look at it - Glow Stamp in the glow folder

Look again. You are looking at the one close to the middle. There is also one at the start and at the end of the effect (look in the darker purple area - they look like half diamonds).
