problem with software update graphics card for mac pro

im have a hard time to do a software update for my graphics card ATI Radeon X1900 XT: heres what i did 1,downloaded the update software run the installer but then it quits saying something like a corrupt file. i have tried downloading the same file through different sites and it didnt help still help please
