 | Embarrassingly simple iDVD question
by Mark Suszko on Jun 13, 2010 at 6:57:54 pm |
I was making room on my home computer using the free version of Cocktail, and trashed and erased some files, probably a few old pref files among them. Now suddenly, every time I boot my imac, iDVD launches, unbidden. I can't seem to squash it. What's the secret?

Trashing preference files is usually a less than good idea unless you understand what they relate to, but anyway it could be hopefully one of 2 things- either right click the iDVD icon in te dock and see if the "open at login" menu option is ticked. If so then uncheck it. If that's Not the case look in your system preferences, ithink it's under ''accounts', and there is a "login items" tab in there- if iDVD is in there then remove it from the list :)
if none of that's the case let me know and i'll do some
more thinking.

It was checked in the dock icon for some reason, that fixed it, thanks!
