Language Swap with Snow Leopard
by Sven Meyer on Oct 22, 2009 at 8:53:40 am

Hi everyone,

since the option to change the language of apps in Snow Leopard is disabled (by clicking information -> language) I'm running into some trouble. I got a german CS4 Pack and where used to use AE in english. Besides the ugliness of the german language in an application, I'm not able to use effect-presets anymore that call the effects in english.

I tried this little app: http://www.tj-hd.co.uk/en-gb/languageswitcher/ but it doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas on this would be appreciated...thanks!

I believe that the language options in the OS mainly just control the language that OS related things are in. Application still need to support different languages.

I'm betting the issue is you software does not support multiple languages.

Hi Zane,

After Effects CS4 definitely support multi-language - I used it with Mac OS Leopard all the time.

Cheers
