Leopard instead of Snow?

I read the post below concerning replacing snow leopard on a new MBP...
couldn't quite figure out the real answer...can I install 10.5.6 on
a new MBP that comes with Snow Leopard on it? can I partition the HD
and have both? Any help is appreciated...My AJA IO device only has drivers for Leopard....

Yes you can BUT it MUST be done from disks that came with the EXACT SAME MODEL computer. NO other disks will contain the drivers needed for the hardware of that machine. A retail 10.6 install disk will NOT work ether as the build of the OS on those disks is OLDER then the machine you are trying to put it on and therefore will NOT contain the needed drivers for the NEWER hardware.

Yes be the 10.5 partition sell needs to be installed with the disks I mentioned above.
There are no "technical solutions" to your "artistic problems".
