Editorial Designer
Fox Sports.com

FoxSports.com is looking for an Editorial Designer to work as a dedicated resource to the editorial/video department creating associated art in alignment with the site and brand design style guide. This position will oversee the use of all art/photos on the site ensuring the best possible quality, presentation and experience possible for our users. Additionally, this person will create engaging, eye catching, interactive and sponsor-able features for main sections of the site.

Responsibilities

• Creation of Infographic features for prominent positions on the front pages
• Hot maps highlighting story development, timeline of critical events
• Charts explaining comparisons of players, teams, etc and more.
• High quality Top Story art creation showcasing our special content packages and big events.
• Provide support to the photo editing team to lend a hand when needed


Requirements

• 3+ years professional Flash experience and an exciting portfolio that showcases your work
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
• Demonstrated understanding of intermediate Actionscript coding. Interactive design using Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Must be able to work under direction and juggle multiple assignments, while self-starting new creative ideas.
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate in a friendly, non-competitive manner
