My name is David Brooks and I currently reside in Los Angeles, but would be extremely willing to re-locate to Toronto since: A. I hate it here, and B: I grew up in Rochester, NY and would like to be closer to my family.
I am a recent graduate but am not your standard college student. I'm a late bloomer and decided to finish my schooling after @20 years in the workforce. I have worked in steel fabrication for the last 6 years and am very familiar with a production pipeline even if it doesn't involve making movies, video games, or television.
I have also been a freelance sports artist for the better part of two decades. A few examples of my work can be seen here:

I am proficient in Maya(modeling, Texturing, rigging, animating), Lightwave, XSI, and Photoshop. I can manage my way around the linux OS, but am hardly an expert. I can be if it is necessary. The same can be said for my zbrush skills.
