Talented Final Cut Pro Editor Needed

We are seeking a creative and motivated Final Cut Pro Video Editor to join a passionate, creative team with an integrated media company. We are a highly successful, travel media company with a 20-year track record of producing results for clients. Media Company is also located 5 minutes from the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will:
-Have extensive post-production experience, with a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3-5years editing in Final Cut Pro.
-Be knowledgeable in video web delivery formats.
-Have a proven ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
-Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is an extremely fast paced position and project slate that requires a professional with experience in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Motion, Soundtrack, Live Type, color correction and sound mixing.
(Most of the work is performed in a fast-paced office/studio setting with potential interruptions. Applicant needs to be able to deal with a great diversity of people.)
Experience editing travel videos, promos, and short features are desired.
The ideal candidate will also be proficient with graphic design, DVD authoring, video compression, and is familiar with a variety of HD and SD formats.
Applicant must know how to work in a Mac environment and know how to troubleshoot when needed.
Preferred Additional Skills – Adobe AfterEffects and/or Apple Motion 4, DVD Studio Pro, 3D Animation, Lightwave, Magic Bullet Music Sequencing (ProTools, Soundtrack), Visual Effects, Etc.
*Must be able to take direction and meet deadlines.
*Must be able to work with team members to help determine standards and procedures for production.
*Must be able work on and off site if necessary.
*Must have reliable transportation and be punctual.
