We're a central Illinois based company offering Wedding Entertainment and Videography.
We've been offering Videography for three years now, and I had a full time editor who left for another position out of town.
I'm looking for someone who can match, or exceed his talent level for editing video, motion graphics, and web/graphic design.
We shoot weddings (and other small projects) in HD, so I would want them edited in HD, up until the moment of distribution. (Clients could potentially purchase Blu-Ray discs)
If you happen to be in the Central Illinois area, you could certainly use our editing machine (We're strictly Adobe Creative Suite). Otherwise, I would have to send you the captured files, and you could produce the videos and send them back to me completed.
We also have many website projects that a talented person could help out with.
Currently, you would be paid PER WEDDING edited (not hourly). And I may be bringing someone on full time in the spring to replace the editor that left.
Your demo reel speaks more than a resume (however, I want to make sure that you do speak fluent English, and are capable of meeting deadlines)... so send me a link to your reel and I'll take a look.
I am in need of a few cameramen within the next month or two if you happen to be in Central Illinois.
Just to recap, a perfect applicant would be fluent in:
Video Editing (to tell a story with emotion)
Audio production
Motion Graphics
Web/Graphic Design (my past editor also helped with creating flyers, brochures, business cards, etc)
