Duties
* Sports Editor for in-game entertainment, television features, promos, and spots
* Shooter as needed for company related events
All candidates MUST have the following experience to qualify for consideration:
* Adobe After Effects CS4
* Adobe Illustrator CS4
* Adobe Photoshop CS4
* Non-Linear Video Editing for audio and video on Final Cut Pro
* Boris FX
* Noise Industries
* Final Cut Server
* DVD Authoring using DVD Studio Pro
* Compression for DVD, Video / audio downloads and web streaming
* I-DVD
* Experience with video production equipment including professional video cameras and lighting is a plus
* Candidate must have excellent communication, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
* Must be able to format for multiple distribution methods
* Candidate must have a solid understanding of the tools in the video/audio/graphics field
* Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude and be a team player.
* Prior or current experience at a design studio, post house, or broadcast television station
* Proficient in/with both PC and MAC technology
* A design or art degree or equivalent is desired
* Experience with Flash Animation, web design, and/or print is a plus, but not necessary
* Available to work some long nights and weekends
* Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics are required
* We are looking for a team player who loves to meet people and tell their stories with video and sound on multiple platforms
· A minimum of 2-3 years experience in the field, preferably with some sports editing experience
· Strong ability to present creative ideas in a clear and professional manner
· Ability to receive and respond to creative direction
* Must live in the LA area – will not pay relocation expenses
* Demo reel and work samples required.
