Freelance Designer-Animator and Freelance Editor needed for corporate project work on-site in Chandler, AZ.
Designer-Animator
• Create 2D/3D animations and graphic designs for corporate messages and internal/external communications
• Incorporation of video and graphics; possibly light video editing using AVID or Final Cut Pro
• Conform to client-specific design requirements, from conservative to cutting edge and offer creative direction and suggestions when required
• Concept development and storyboarding, implementation of branding & marketing strategies
• Provide creative direction and design services in support of video, web, print and other department-associated projects
• Integrate design elements into finished video projects, presentations, web or print materials
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Maya
• Proficient in both Mac & PC operation and standard design software including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficiency in any of various disciplines of design and animation software such as Eyeon Fusion, Flash, Quark, Motion, Fireworks, Smoke, Flame, Dreamweaver, Shake, Combustion, Discreet, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Matchmover, etc.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment
• Extreme attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation; Professional presence and superior client relationship skills
• Must have a commitment to excellence and to ongoing education in design and to the mastery of their craft
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Arts or related field is required
• 3+ years experience designing professional corporate graphics
• Excellent samples that demonstrate technical work for major clients

Editor
• Perform technical editorial functions including rough cuts, graphic design & integration, audio sweetening, color correction and final delivery of projects.
• Be constantly vigilant throughout all projects for correct details, spelling, and ultimate program content.
• Coordinate all aspects of editing as needed; Interface with client and producer; work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and offer creative solutions for each project
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor engineering of edit suite and media storage system
• Troubleshoot production equipment to ensure proper functionality for the day’s shoot or edit
• Proficient with AVID Media Composer Adrenaline and Unity Storage Area Network; Should have familiarity with After Effects, Final Cut Pro and related editing programs
• Must have and demonstrate ability to utilize editing equipment operation, production techniques, engineering requirements and client branding initiatives: both industry standards and those unique to client
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment
