Producer – Project Manager for Pravda Studios in Seattle
Pravda Studios (www.pravdastudios.com) is seeking a creative Producer – Project Manager to support Pravda’s various creative projects which include video, photography, print and interactive. The Producer - Project Manager is responsible for client coordination, scheduling, daily diary function in QuickBooks, supervision and financial control of all talent and crew, equipment rental, and post production oversight subject to the provisions of the Statements of Work, personal service contracts and directives from the Senior Executive Producer. The Producer - Project Manager is responsible for ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, within budget and on time. The Producer – Project Manager will manage interdisciplinary teams of visual designers, writers, interaction designers, developers, photography crew, freelance crew and talent helping to evolve creative concepts into clear sets of deliverables in a way that balances client requirements with team growth and morale.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of prior experience as a Producer - Project Manager working with top-tier brands and companies.
• Experience managing clients (external or internal) on project scope and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of web development process, technologies, and standards. Knowledge of quality assurance process and usability testing is required.
• Additional knowledge of video production highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
• Experience with HTML, Photoshop, Flash and server-side technology necessary.
• Knowledge of CRM (ACT Database), MS Visio, Microsoft SharePoint, QuickBooks, Media Bid, Showbiz budgeting and InDesign a plus.
• Experience in both Windows and Mac environments.
Qualifications and Qualities:
• A certification in Flash or Silverlight or Project Management highly desirable.
• High level of understanding of production environment.
• General knowledge of relevant film / photographic based production software (Final Cut, ShowBiz Budgeting) highly desirable.
• Ability to develop, analyze and maintain budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Professional and positive approach with all personnel.
• An ability to refine creative expectations into clear tangible instruction and tasks.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail demonstrating clarity and good judgment.
• Ability to effectively and positively keep co-workers and team members motivated and on task.
• Personal initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to negotiate the best deal from our contractors and vendors.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
