Motion Graphics Designer
DXD works with many prestigious clients throughout the US and offers a creative, fun and exciting environment and is looking to add an innovative, self-motivated creative designer with experience in motion graphic design and animation.
Role Responsibilities
The central focus of the Motion Graphics Designer role is to design and create high quality graphic elements for our clients within the sports industry. The ideal candidate must possess the skills to conceptualize, design and produce motion graphics elements.
This position will under the direction of a Sr. Graphics Designer to ensure project statuses and requests are consistently updated and maintained on a regular basis.
Requirements
• Prior or current experience at a design or post production studio is highly recommended.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with motion graphics, typography and animation (2D/3D).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in project-based environment.
• Must have extensive knowledge/experience using Maya, Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Cinema 4D
• Ability to work cohesively within a team environment with all levels of management and staff
• Requires strong organizational skills combined with good communication (verbal/written) skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task efficiently.
• Proficient in with both a PC and MAC technology.
• A design or art degree or equivalent is desired.
Role Expectations
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communications skills (written/verbal) to establish and sustain collaborative relationships with key internal personnel and selected clients.
• Adhere to internal processes related to code of ethics, internal audit, human resources and disaster recovery policies/procedures.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art video/film/graphics/audio production and post-production technology and equipment.
