The production team for the Feature Film "NECROSIS" is looking for a visual effects artist to create some limited CGI effects as well as as titling on our opening helicopter title sequence. There is limited pay and it may be negotiated per effect or as a package if you are capable of providing a one-stop shop. We have a $1000.00 effects budget.

The film was shot on the Panasonic Varicam in HD (720P 24 frame) and edited in Final Cut.

We are looking for someone that is able to create the following:

1. Opening credits - appear on screen (some type of ghostly mist effect) over our helicopter footage. Looking for something eerie here and open for suggestion.

2. CGI effect - Knee shot out, blood creation 4-8 frames total work.

3. CGI - remove squib ignition "flash" and replace with blood/gore. (1-2 frames each on 5 shots)

4. CGI effect - Shotgun muzzle flash, with post blast smoke as two actors fight over weapon. Muzzle flash 2-4 frames, residual smoke over 24-48 frames.

5. Create a ramping or disappearance effect with a ghostly character as she walks through a snowing scene and as she speaks on 2 additional occasions (open to creative input here...tell us what you think!)

6. CGI - ghostly footsteps appear on a ceiling. Several seconds.

7. Matte in some storm clouds.

Thanks for your interest in helping out on this production. Jason.

Jason,

My name is Roger Wolski. I am an experienced editor/sound designer with an extensive After Effects background.

I understand there is limited pay but would still like to see if
I can help you.

As mentioned, my editing and sound design work has been for independent films and work for the History Channel. I am currently
providing visual effects, along with sound design for the film "Dog Jack" (on IMDB). I can send you before and after examples of that if you would like. I would also be open to doing one of your shots on spec.

Look forward to hearing from you.
