We are a video production company that is growing its animation side of the business.
You will start out as a contractor. If the relationship is going well then you will be given the option to become a full time employee with health benefits and bonus plan.
AMN Video has been in business for two years. We focus on corporate videos. However recently we are marketing ourselves heavily towards commercials, music videos, just to mention a few. As we break ground in these areas our demand for 3D and 2D animation and artists will grow rapidly in both volume and expertise.
This is a PAID test project to find animators we can work with.
We are looking for a Maya animator. Here is the minimum qualifications we are looking for:
Experienced with HDRI (several HDRI projects completed)
Moderate Rigging skills
Texturing a plus
Great communication skills and attention to detail is a MUST. If I have to constantly correct you, repeat the project requirements, and point out mistakes in your work then this will not work out. If you are meticulous, detail oriented, driven, need very little supervision and put out high quality work you will go far with this company.
Please submit resume with salary history to: alexm@amnvideo.com
What is also helpfull is some links to projects you've completed and the prices you charged for those projects
Our current project is as follows:
Project description:
A convertible car is driving through city streets (All 3D assets). The driver (video footage) can be seen driving the car. We see the car and the driver from various angles driving around.
The project is in two parts the animation and the compositing. The same artist can do both parts if they are qualified or each piece will be given to a separate artist to work on.
3D Animation:
Basically a car will be driving though city streets. It will consist of 5 close up shots and 2 distant shots. All these shots are from various angles and they will have to match the angles of the video footage of a driver manning a dummy steering wheel in front of a green screen. HDRI data was captured on camera(HVX200) and need to be used in lighting the 3D scene. The final render needs to be near photo realistic. All 3D assets are complete only animation is needed. However since the distant shots will need a large city scape you will need to combine the various city models we will provide to create a diverse large city scape.
I'd prefer if the animator was located in Orange County California where my studio is.

Hi,
I live in Oakland, CA. I can telecommute and my 3D Boxx system should be enough for your tech specs. View my reel at www.melpeppas.webs.com My rate is $300/day. Thanks, Mel
