Hi Creative Bovines,
We are in postproduction on a Syrianna style short narrative shot in S16mm. The film is a political drama, heavy on topical events triggered by 9/11.
Our project needs someone with dialog editing, sound effects and audio cleanup. The project is cut in Final Cut Pro, we can output an OMF file to work with Pro Tools or Soundbooth, etc.
There are some off mic scenes, wind noise, crackles, hums and pops for clean up. The sound designer needs to do necessary leveling, balancing and equalizing work. We have ambient sound for most scenes and can provide sound effects if required.
This is a paid gig for someone who can work for an indie budget narrative short (44 minutes). Most of the dialog is in a foreign language, but the movie is subtitled in English.

I am a freelance sound designer with doc, feature and short narrative experience. I have my own pro tools rig and studio for ADR, foley & music composition. Here is my imdb - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2452136/ Its a partial list of work I've done, (mostly features with distribution), but I have many more credits on short films. A lot of my designs are very unconventional and/or experimental but I can reel it in. I have links and a resume upon request. I'm working in the Southwest now but have accomidations in Seattle. Have a good day!
