Crispin Porter + Bogusky is looking for an internal productions editor — someone with a versatile skill set to facilitate a combination of interactive, broadcast, and internal projects.
The applicant must be fluent in nonlinear editing software. Our current facilities work solely within the Final Cut Pro HD suite, though familiarity with other editing applications is welcome.
Knowledge of post-production workflow, compression and formats, asset management, and deliverables is important to this role. Previous exposure to a client base, in a post house setting, is considered a major strength.
Experience with the following software (ranging anywhere from novice to expert) is highly encouraged: After Effects, Maya, Photoshop (including matte work), Shake (or other compositing software), Color, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Illustrator, Soundtrack Pro, Pro Tools, etc.

Extensive experience with interactive, broadcast and internal projects for major agencies such as TBWA, Goodby, major clients such as HBO, ESPN, ABC, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and post facilities.
Emmy Nominated Editor.
Final Cut Studio Specialist who has authored several training DVDs as part of the Digital Media Training Series.
Expert abilities in After Effects, Creative Suite, DVD Studio Pro, etc.

I am a producer/editor with many different production abilities. There are several stages of the production process that I can bring my skill set to bare. I have been a vid editor for about six years and working with FCP for about three years. I have a solid sound editing and design background as well as graphic design and writing experience. I have photo editing and photo motion effect experience. I am an intermediate After Effects user, but have been doing motion graphics work in other programs for a while. I can also author DVD's. In my most recent position I was responsible for all aspects of production process. I have the capacity to take a project from conception to end product with little or no supervision.
