I am looking for experienced 3d modelers who can create 3d portraits of people - heads only - from high res jpegs.
We pay well for good quality models that are excellent in terms of accuracy and recognizability.
Please send resume / portfolio links.
We are only interested in hearing from reliable artists who can work to a deadline and who have (and can demonstrate this via an initial test) the right experience and skills.
Please do not email me pictures of interiors, wargames, fantasy etc etc, and say you can do reference based portraiture. I need to see directly relevant work.
This is mesh only, platform independent. No rigging, texture, lighting, animation required.

Hi
It is always my passion to create 3D face models of a specific character or a person.
I had created twice for my own satisfaction only...... I can send you the sample image of the same.
Thanks for being very clear about sample criterion.
would surely work to good depth depending on scope of work & budget.

I only have one likeness piece that I've done and It's of myself. Here is a link I hosted on my site for you to view of it's progress right now. This is about 3 days work and I am currently working full time at a studio. Let me know what you think.

Well, I used Daniel Craig (last James Bond, Golden Compass, ...) for one of my characters. You can check him out in the Character Model section of my website: www.ellison-gallery.com.

I am a freelance modelmaker, designer and sculptor. I work mostly in plaster and provide a model to the customer made of Repro, an aluminum powder filled urethane. I use a number of techniques to create models: Screeding, turning, sculpting in plasteline, or carving reliefs. I also have magnesium plates made from black and white artwork as a starting point to create a relief. I can make models from your drawings, a photograph, verbal description, or design something from scratch.
Upon graduation from Alfred University, where I learned ceramic modelmaking and production, I worked briefly for Stangl Pottery in Trenton, then for thirty years I worked as a modelmaker, and conventional modeling supervisor for Pfaltzgraff Pottery in York PA. I also have extensive experience in troubleshooting pottery-forming problems. In 2005 the pottery brand name was sold and all the manufacturing is now done in Asia. Since then I’ve been working in my barn studio.
While at Pfaltzgraff I had the opportunity to learn CAD-CAM modeling but passed it up because I’d rather work with my hands instead of a monitor and mouse. After the company spent millions on CAD-CAM equipment and training, my modelshop would be the first option if they needed something done quickly, or if it was too sculptural to be modeled on a computer.
I enjoy a model making or design challenge, and since leaving Pfaltzgraff the variety and complexity of projects I’ve worked on has been very fulfilling.
. If you are interested I’d be happy to send pictures of some of my work.
