We are a Creative Commercial Post Production Facility in Santa Monica, CA seeking an Avid Tech to support our Commercial Editorial facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide support for MAC Non-Linear Editorial environment (SD&HD)
-Evaluate/Build upon the current direction and technology of editorial
workflow
-Interface with editorial artists to determine needs, prioritization of needs and
execution of needs
-Work to enhance workflow of deliverables of tape & file formats
-Support MAC graphics workstations
-Assist in configuring windows servers, along with, general networking
-Basic phone programming or changing of a light bulb.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Proficiency with Avid Adrenaline Software, Hardware, Troubleshooting, and
Unity (or ISIS)
-Knowledge of Final Cut
-Understanding of HD Cameras, Formats, Frame Rates, and workflow
-Proficient with MAC
PREFERRED:
-Working knowledge of non-linear Post Production SD and HD
-Knowledge of editorial hardware and software engineering
-Knowledge of video codec’s and streaming video techniques
-Web savvy
-Familiarity with graphics applications
-Basic foundation in IT/Networking
