RIOT S.M. looking for experienced Final Cut Assistant

RIOT Santa Monica is in need of a savvy Final Cut Assistant to work in our digital acquisition department. The candidate must be able to multi-task, and prioritize workload under pressure.
Skills one must posses to be considered are:
- Proficient with Final Cut Pro
- ability to manage and manipulate client EDLs
- ability to create and make edit adjustments on FCP Timeline
- ability to setup and operate HD & SD video tape desks
- understanding of a MAC Xsan network
- some experience of Unix / Linux command line navigation
- ability to launch basic command line scripts
- ability to communicate clearly with Producers and Clients

Mr Bristow,
I am responding to your post for a FCP editor / assistant editor.
I believe I would be a fine candidate for the position but I will admit that I would need to refresh my skills with unix command line scripts. Other than that I am very proficient with FCP and I come from a creative background in the motion picture business starting in 1973. I am a natural story teller.
