This position will be based in the South Bay area of Southern California; a short distance from Long Beach, Los Angeles, Santa Monica or surrounding areas.
Job Description:
Lead. Video Test Engineer
We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Video Test Engineer for our Software Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in design and deployment of Xsan networks, a working knowledge of Final Cut Studio and video post. The position requires experience was various storage and archive architectures and Xserve / Mac OSX Server administration. Linux, StorNext SAN, and Windows Server knowledge is a definite plus.
Job Functions:
The Lead Video Test Engineer will develop good test practices in the test design and execution of video qualification testing and performance testing and profiling. While working closely with hardware and software engineers, the Lead Video Test Engineer will be responsible for uncovering and debugging technical issues, and for driving resolution of issues with partners.
Qualifications:
Good technical understanding of RAID and storage systems management
Through knowledge of Apple systems and the Mac OS X operating system and Xsan
Expert knowledge with Final Cut Studio
Excellent communications skills
