We are a video production company needing an experienced fcp video editor with at least 2 years experience to work for us on a full or part time basis. Mainly promotional and training dvds which are regularly uploaded to the web. Salary negotiable. Reply immediately for more information.

Hello, I saw your post on Creativecow and I'm interested in receiving further information. Currently I work at the International Wildlife Film Festival and Media Center in Missoula Montana where I teach filmmaking workshops and act as their technical coordinator. I am currently seeking a more lucrative form of employment in the future. I have a degree in creative writing and media arts from the University of Montana. I have six years experience with final cut pro and have been actively learning motion and dvd studio pro in the past year. Besides from working at the IWFF I have worked with ILF productions, Kings productions, The University Graduate School, MoonTower Pictures and other local and regional production companies around Montana.

I am a freelance Apple certified Final Cut Pro editor with five years of broadcast experience.
I also use Motion, DVDSP, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Compressor to a professional standard.
I have worked in documentary, drama, news, sport, corporate, viral, promo, and music video.
I come from a strong narrative background, with a masters degree in Mythology.

im here with my aunt's house at trowbridge for 3 months. im from manila, philippines.
i use FCP since version2 and version6 for a segment portion for GMA7network inc.
and been doing that for almost 15 years now from linear editing to non-linear system.
i've done drama (soap opera)long form format, entertainment, corporate video and MTV.

I’m applying for the editor position. I’m looking for a role that will allow me to express my skills and work within a company that has talented and experienced individuals.
I’m currently a final year full time film student studying Digital Film & Video Production BA (Hons) at the London South Bank University. I’m very flexible with availability as I will be even more available full-time work after May 25th 2008. Even during term time I’ll be available to carry on working 3~4 days of work per week. I have an Advanced Vocational qualification in Media Studies and an AS level in Film Studies.
I've had work experience in Channel 4 Broadcasting, in their Press Office dept as a Picture Publicist Assistant and as a runner for Current.tv. I’ve worked as Graphic Design Assistant for Sauce and Prontaprints.
Currently, I’ve just completed an edit of a 12 min short thriller/mystery on FCP 6.0 and online edits on After Effects CS3, Apple Color and Soundtrack Pro. I’m currently on a FCP training course at a certified Apple training centre at my university.
I’m proficient in Adobe CS3 production studio (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Soundbooth, Encore, Flash). I’m proficient in Final Cut Pro Studio 2. I’m intermediate with Avid offline, beginner on Autodesk Maya 8.5, Imagineer software, Maxon Cinema 4D, 3DS Studio Max, Nuke 5.0, Fire, Flint, Flame, Inferno and Smoke. I’m proficient with Windows (Vista/XP) and Mac OS X systems and experienced with Office 2007 (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc).
For the past four years I’ve been working on numerous projects, I’ve directed/cinematographed/scripted a 16mm short film and then edited them on a steenbeck table. I’ve Written/produced a short film and documentaries on Sony PD-150/170 DVcam then edited them on off-line software such as; Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. They’ve been outputted onto DVD, internet, video phones and other media device formats.
My interests are in all areas of film-making; writing, directing, editing, producing. Also my other interest are in various kinds of music, movies, commercials, music promos, books, socializing, sports and keeping active. I’m the type person who takes their work very seriously but with a creative approach. I’m very good with deadlines and work well even when under pressure.
I feel I have the right skills and ability to fulfill the requirements you need for this position, by not just knowing the software package technically but how to use them creatively. Finally, I would like the opportunity to be part of a creative team.
