Edit Assistant

Looking for an freelance edit assist type person for in-home promo production company. Responsibilities include: digitizing tapes, preparing tapes for delivery (labels, etc), logging media, fedexing deliveries to clients, setting up couriers and occasionally driving to pick up materials from clients. You will be working with Final Cut Pro for digitizing and will be trained in simple edits as well as how to build slates and you will also be taught how to make simple renders out of After Effects.
A little experience in broadcasting and/or production would be preferred over someone completely green. Familiarity with the mac platform is very important, however.
